You have a drop bracket lift. That bracket you're pointing at moves the bump stop down the same amount the drop bracket moved the control arm down.

 

The bump stop? I wouldn’t remove it because you would break a shock.

In y’alls opinion who likes drop bracket lifts vs knuckle lifts? In my opinion everything on this lift rubs thinking about switching it completely

 

I believe part of the frame is cut and removed on a 6” lift. To remove that would require welding the removed section back in.

 

The question is... did whoever installed the lift cut the frame in anyway?

 

Ok it’s a 4 in the front for sure the block in the back is about 3 from my measurements

 

what exactly "rubs"? If it's the tires then it's not the lift at fault but the specs of the wheels/tires.

 

More or less the tires would wheel spacers help without changing tire size or adding an extra strut spacer height and better shocks?

 

yeah I would suggest first figuring out what exactly is rubbing and where before you start trying to throw stuff at the problem. You already have strut spacers from the drop bracket lift and I'm not sure how better shocks will solve the problem or removing a bumpstop bracket.

figure out where it's rubbing, and then go from there.

Tires rub on the frame and I’m turning and hit a bump or turn too hard in reverse

 

I mean it's because you are running a 36" tall and 13" wide tire. What are your wheel specs?

 

They are 325/60r20 terra grapplers

It’s going to be hard to get a good recommendation due to not having the wheel specs but it’s understandable. If you’re rubbing on the frame when turned, I’d slowly turn the wheel while looking at how close to the wheel well/fender/cab mount you get. If there’s a bit of room, then a wheel spacer might help but that’s a guess without actually being there looking at the problem.
