@Torspd , looking for info on mounting my regulator for my fuel rail install. not sure if what i have will fit on the rail. may need remote mounting. any tips to share? maybe where NOT to mount it.

 

Dual -6an hose from the tank > Y fitting (2x-6an to 1x-8an) > FST fuel filter assembly > -8an hose > Adapters > stock fuel line

Haven't had the time to do the rest yet.

 

By chance are you using a High temp Clear coat too? VHT was the only Satin Clear I came across, but it was EXHAUST paint (same same). Duplicolor Has a Clear Gloss enamel as well as Rustoleum.

 

I used some thick aluminum spacers, with holes in the center. Used as stand-offs from the fire wall, just under the cowl. Then marked, drilled the two holes, and used long bolts to attach. With large washers on the back side. To help support the load, due to the small bolt size.

Are you planning on running -6an or -8an on the return line?

 

No just gloss black Vht. Valve covers are powder coated.

I spent some time today adapting the 70mm TB to the blower. It took a significant amount of grinding on not only the blower inlet, but also the u r d adapter (installed upside down intentionally). I didn't measure, but it was at least 3mm too small for the new TB.

First, I matched the adapter to the throttle body.



I then bolted it up to the blower and started matching it up and smoothing things out. You can see in this pic how much needed to be cleaned up from the blower itself.

Remembered to take a few pics as I continued to smooth things out.

I also ended up just making my own gasket to seal the TB to the adapter.



After having done this, I've got to ask. The guys running 76mm throttle bodies; How much more grinding did you do!?

Did you match your adapter to the SC inlet? I left just enough material to hold the TB gasket/oring in place. Wish I'd grabbed a pic.

 

Planning -6an from the regulator over to the stock return line via a -6an to efi adapter.

 

i ground until i felt good.

i did some minimal grinding. but ive always done half ass work as im always driving. now a change. nice job.
