I am in the market for some new tires and these look like a great option.

    Thanks everyone for the feedback.

Read the whole thread. Sounds like a lot of you are running 255/85R16 without any rubbing. I plan on keeping suspension and wheels stock. Is removing the front mud flaps the only necessary thing to avoid ALL rubbing in this size? I am even toying with the idea of going 235/85 R16 if there is even a chance of rubbing with 255s. I haven't seen any post their thoughts on 235s. Any input welcomed!

I dont have a Tacoma, but the 255 is pretty darned skinny. I would highly suggest sticking with the 255. Every truck is different anyway, so if by some freak occurrence we all say you will have NO rub, but then somehow it does...could be solved quickly with an adjustment to the alignment. Caster moves the wheels back and forth in the wheel well a good bit.

Anybody have any experience or heard anything with the 295/70/17 size? I'm liking that size better than the 285 for a little more width

Sorry been away from here for a moment but here’s and update. Installed the 35s finally, did cut fenders 2in all around hammered back pinch welds and so far all has been running pretty good. Slight rubbing but nothing I can’t handle 40ED6B51-B246-4ED2-9C43-D92F46AC4314.jpg278AF9E7-E21A-4E1A-AEB5-F37F207978B9.jpg6C0FA0DD-A72E-486C-84AD-07EC351FD822.jpg

Just joined the club, got 33x12.5! Also I was wondering if slight vibrations while going 2-4 mph is normal? I'm assuming it's a trait of MT tires but maybe someone can correct me..

Those look sweet man!! Love the headlights! And I haven’t noticed much at those speeds myself have you done the bushing delete for the driver side axel?

Appreciate it friend! No I haven't touched any bushings. It might just be my sensitive butt dyno as I did come from an AT

Could be lug slap. I get a little rumble when slowing down.

Yes, that's a mud tire thing. Even my Milestar Patagonias did it when new. The tread block edges will wear down a bit and the rumble won't be as noticeable.

Just got them mounted up. They put the wrong valve stems in and my tires were flat the next morning:facepalm:Going from Trail Grapplers that ran for about 40k, I'm already a huge fan of the Geolandar's. They're at 40psi right now and they definitely travel a bit. I'm going to try running them at 37 and see how it feels.

Unfortunately when I got it aligned they couldn't get the camber within spec, said my LCA bushings were shot. Seems a bit premature, it's a 2014 with 80k and the lift has only been on for 40k. We'll find out this weekend.
