I was about to say, blocking an entrance or burrow is a means of saying STAY OUT.

But I think Lady Gaga blocked the rear exit in the event that SWAT might wanna kick doors in

    20200409_070241.jpg

Its a small tunnel, opposite end of the wood, yet you can see its blocked o_O

Oh that ain't blocked. Think of that silken doorway as an elaborate system of trip wires to alert her of any prey back there. Drop a roach near that door and see what happens. :D

She did eat a few days ago...can’t tell cuz she won’t come out as you can see.

Just with the substrate like a blanket. I need to get some fake plants and see if they come out more.

Well..I was looking forward to doing that today until I just got home from work

    20200409_180515.jpg

    She opened it herself.

And check this out, she webbed up even more! Not to mention the window opening in the substrate is bigger. She's been crazy busy burrowing and still webbing everything up

Will be rehousing my Nhandu chromatus today as I found some mold in the old enclosure. Moving into a Rubbermaid Brilliance food storage container which make great T enclosures if you guys are looking around because they are crystal clear, have a securely closing lid (with latches that can be removed), and come in various sizes. Old enclosure on the right below and you can see the mold in the bottom right corner. I'll take a pic of the new setup when it's done.

New Nhandu chromatus enclosure. No water dish right now since the substrate was so moist.

Exactly! It's really hard to find good plastic enclosures that are crystal clear. The Rubbermaid Brilliance lineup look exactly like pyrex but air holes can still be easily drilled.

    Nice

I have 3 extra enclosures, and no slings inside them.

One of them even has a piece of wood, substrate, water dish, and has been getting rained on once every 3 days or so.

It was the one I got from @Pinay but since I used my other enclosure I thought, why not maintain it *just in case* :anonymous:
