They have those in the Midwest, have seen them for years in Missouri when we visit family. Always makes me laugh seeing the name though

@cruiserguy @Empty_Lord -- Just having out under the 4.7L looking around and notice some gray FIPG (or RTV) around the upper oil pan. Its not leaking or causing a problem.

Did Toyota ever use a gray FIPG? I think I read where engines from Japan use a gray FIPG. Over the years, I've had the best luck with Ultra Grey on metal to metal surfaces even though it has a longer cure time.

Just trying to figure out if the upper oil pan has been resealed.

Just saw a deep maroon FJ Cruiser. It looked great on it. Is that an oem color? Anyone seen maroon on those?

Gray is factory. Black is the replacement. Gray means it’s never been open

Have any of you guys had trouble with making the SPC UCA xAxis spacers stick to the control arms for installation?

I've tried sticky grease and they slide off while I'm trying to get the arms into position for the cam mounting bolts.

I'm about ready to use something like a silicone sealer or rubber glue to get them to stick long enough for installation.

Just finished weeding my front yard. HOA can't complain now, not that they have yet. I hate HOAs tho.

    No HOA is best HOA.

We dont have one here and the neighborhood looks just about the same as the one across the street from us that does have one.

The highlighted part. I've got some sticky grease, but not enough to be bumped during installation.

It's difficult to find a place that doesn't have an HOA here in Tucson. They seem overly popular here for some reason. Maybe all the snowbirds we get.
