Local pickup. By buying online I was able to take advantage of some sales and saved $35. Delivery would have been by UPS and was like $250. No thanks.

It's free shipping too. Use that $20 saved to go towards the labor of them having to be welded together.

That's what I was wondering I was thinking delivery would be astronomical. I have two sources within 4 miles so I am lucky in that respect. Next on the tool list will be a skill saw it just makes the cutting so much easier and cleaner

Will the hitch be adequate for towing? Or just for accessories?

I’ll tow but nothing crazy, not up to the factory weight rating. I’ll keep under 3,000 lbs to play it safe.

Hmmmm, not the answer I expected from #RandyFab.

If it's a real hitch, and you weld the fuck outta it, and attach it to the frame too, I don't see why you wouldn't be ok.

I agree, but the last thing I want to do it put my welds to the test with 6,000 lbs in tow On a highway of people.

That said, I never tow anything with the truck anyways. Don’t even have a drop hitch, or a tow wiring harness installed.

I’ll have three 1/2” Grade 8 bolts per side holding the bumper in and will over build the shit outta this but still, don’t wanna pull a Nick.
