    Maybe one of you can tell me what I'm doing wrong with my knots tho.

    I have 15lbs test braided spiderwire. And 2 times I've lost my jig from a cast. Not even a snag.
    I'm using the same knot I always have and it never breaks like that.
    Is braided line not meant to be tied off with an improved clinch?

    Should I be using a palomar instead?

    I don’t use braid , did for a short while when it first came out when I was lil mono all the way . I ve caught 40lb + reds , big aligator far way 100 lbs using spider wire mono 17 lb test , 14 lb dia
