I have a 2017 4 door Off Road. I've changed my wheels and they stick out further than the stock. I'd like to change my stock matt black fender flares for wider ones...probably the "pocket rivet" style. What brands are suggested and companies to purchase from? I noticed you can get them on ebay for anywhere from $100 to $250....Bushwackers seem to run $300 on up. Are they worth the difference? Any suggestions and comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Ron

Pretty sure you can get some cash for your originals to cover what you're buying.

Personally I would only get the bushwacker ones even though they're the most expensive, they also look the best.

If it was me I would try to find some that don’t put those fake chrome bolts all along the edge unless you like that. I have a couple Tacoma’s near me that have them and I like the fender flair but those butt ugly fake bolts just throw the whole thing off for me.

Those pockets are dirt collectors and over time will look like crap unless your anal and take a small brush to clean it good all the time. $.02

What kind of wheels did you go with? How much further do they stick out?

Wow, that's some serious offset. I have 285s on my TR4runner wheels and I'm still flush with the fender flares on my OR.

I grabbed some cheap Amzon ones and they are cheap. Toylike plastic that would probably break before they bend, fake chrome plastic rivets, and the rubber lining did not have an adhesive backing. Needless to say i returned them for bushwhackers. With the painting and 3m, i didnt want to bother with sub par materials. Also, rexgen or rokblokz are the inly mudflaps that will work with bushwhackers 870B15E0-402B-46ED-8118-68FAF076E146.jpg

I've got Tyger flares on my 18 SR , fake rivets with them look a little hokey , but after about 2 years of snow and whatever not a issue with them yet...IMG_0918.jpg IMG_0914.jpg IMG_0918.jpg IMG_0914.jpg

When it stops snowing I may do a little detail work and paint the plastic fake rivits/bolts black just so they are unobtrusive !
