From Concept to Production...Level 8 MK6

Got a new dink on the my Matte Grey. Anyone know of a good color match for these wheels?

 

One more time! 265/70/17 KO2 in C Class rating on 17x8 0 Offset Level 8s. I dont like to ask questions without contributing, so here they are, if there is any lurkers out there wondering same questions. Sorry in advance if this doesn’t pan out, third attempt and my phone ain’t cooperatin’.

 

Good question. Historically, I’ve had a pretty good eye color matching varies nicks and scratches on vehicles. Sometimes I’ll just head the the nail polish aisle with a photo in hand, and grab 2-3 that are in the range. I don’t know how finnicky or anal you are, but I figure if I get it close enough that I don’t notice it from a few feet away (and I can usually accomplish that), good enough.

I apologize to you sir, though, for not having an exact example that would match. For this might amount to a hill of beans for ya.

 

A bit out of the left field, but I ordered these in 16x8, ET -10, for my 3rd Gen 4Runner. I'm expecting some rubbing on the bumper and pinch weld, but we'll see how bad it is. Has anyone done this combo already (I can't find any 4Runner info on this thread, seems to be mostly Tacos )?

 

Where did you get the decal? I ordered one set I thought would fit but didn't.

Will you be getting more 17x8 et 0 in matte gray soon? I tried to place an order on DiscountTire and it says it’s “not available.”

 

Anyone running 305r16 or 315r16 with -10 on these wheels? With 3in lift?

The 16x8 ET0 in matte gunmetal is on back order with no ETA at this time. The ET-10 is readily available

@Discount Tire I'm looking into some Level 8 MK6 17x9 -12offset for my 2018 double cab Tacoma Sport. I currently have the stock OEM sport wheels with 275/70/17 KO2 tires. Do you have an idea on how much wider stance I will gain by going with 17x9 -12 MK6 wrapped with my 275/70/17 ko2's?

Compared to the factory set-up, the 17x9 ET-12 shod with 275'sis going to sit close to 2-1/2" further outwards. If you take a tape measure and measure 2-1/2" outwards from the lip of the factory wheel, this will be the point where the lip of the 17x9 ET-12 MK6 will be.

As you're likely aware, this particular combo is on the aggressive side and will require likely require modifications to the body mount and some trimming around the mud flap/splash guard area.

 

I appreciate your response. I failed to mention, I currently have a leveling kit. 2” up front and 1” in the rear. Do you think I would still have to do some modifications, trimming etc?
