Wife finally got all the stuff to sew masks and got a few made. She test fit one on me and in 10 seconds I took it off. COPD sucks, can't breath with a mask on.

Same blend but probably not the same wood content makeup. :)

Indont have an issue with the Traeger pellets in a pinch they just add no flavor because they are high content of filler wood.

You made need to try the 3D one where there is a buffer between you and the filter itself? Not sure if it will be any better for breathing.

Im wondering if I'll be able to handle a mask... I can't stand a blanket lightly over my face while sleeping so it will be interesting to try if we still have masks at work like I'm hearing about.

Honestly, that short trip was one of the most mentally refreshing things I've done since this whole virus situation. Bet I'd put less than 50 miles on the Tacoma in the last month prior to making the jaunt up to Poolville. Relaxing drive out, relaxing drive back, but a hell of a good time seeing you out there in the shop, even if only a socially distanced chat and no building time ;).

    Enjoy the whiskey!

Maner has that thing looking real nice and damn close to being ready for paint. Seams are looking nice and clean, surfaces are starting to feel real smooth, and some of the wobbly bits are getting worked out. I'm giddy.

Maner's bottle came from a small barrel from the Lone Elm distillery. It is a 15 gallon barrel, so there is a LOT of interaction with the wood compared to a 50 gallon barrel. That makes the yield low, though. Only 40 bottles of that batch out there. Real dark bourbon with a heavy wood influence. It's as Texan a bourbon as there is.

Not to put the cart before the horse, but I'm hoping to do a private barrel selection with Lone Elm once all of this passes. Figure another small barrel and a roughly 40 bottle yield. I'll let folks know as that starts to come to fruition.

So sorry for the short response earlier. I was driving back from Maner's compound and there aren't many stoplights between there and here :D. Got back and have been checking on the pork shoulders. Cooking one for myself, one for my neighbors, and one for my mom to take to her neighborhood and bring dinner to some elderly households in her area.

Updated and good to go now, though. Thanks so much for the endorsement, Clint, and thanks a ton for the order, Jenn! I'll get it out soon!

I just put dinner in the oven. Just some stuff I decided to throw together. Ground beef, diced red potatoes, corn, cheese and cream of mushroom soup. All mixed up and baking now. Hopefully it ain’t gross.
