Man I've been tempted picking up that wheel but I dont really see a need for a 6th matching wheel and the tires bigger than I'm ready for. Been thinking a lot more about selling my full set and going with less offset/backspace and for the jump to 35's. That or just saying :censored: it and tubing the firewall for 37's with the current wheels!

On your Taco you had 700lb springs do you know if they were the 14"? Someone just put 16" 700's up for sale but I feel like 16" would be too much. I need 700 but the replacements for my order being mislabeled wont get shipped until king opens again from the covid shut down...

Ahh I didn't know you even had a 5th, that's why I tagged ya! The wormhole wasn't worth it to me for the Tacoma :anonymous:

Yeah I had the 14" 700's. I feel like the 16"ers would be the same amount of preload if not more :notsure:

Thanks for the input. I had to get a matching 5th for the swing out for those #EAF points. I'm worried 16" springs will be more lift than I want with no preload. I was supposed to get 14" 700lb and got 14" 600lb labeled as 700lb from king. Sits ~1/2" or more lower than I was expecting and have held off adding preload until I get the 700lb springs.

35's were my end goal but if I have to tub for 35's do to my wheels I might as well go for bigger right? :notsure::rofl: Just need it to not be my DD running 35+, I'll want to pick up a decent DD for work. My trucks not going anywhere ever if I can help it so the work/cost will be worth it in the long run.

The MPG's arent even a thought. Its the miles driven and cost of tires. We have higher speeds in Tx and 75-80 speed limits are around, I also have a heavy truck and radar for my heavy foot. Got OVtune so I dont get cut off at 86mph with 5.29's.:anonymous: I typically only get maybe 14-15mpgs on the highway and about the same around town. Gears are on my short list of purchases before going to a bigger tire than the 285's I'm currently running.

The -38 offset. If he didn’t have glass it would have been a bro truck.

-38 offset and 3.5 bs poke quite a bit. My 285's are hitting my CMC and firewall when compressed with something like +5deg of caster.

That poke was no joke! Matched perfectly with a 3" fender
    Screenshot_20200411-202850.jpg

It was just too much.. At this point, I had completely removed the oem cab mount and was straight rubbing on the body in reverse. After that relocate with Mike I could fit 2 smelly fingers in between the tire and body at full lock with regular 4.5 -12 wheels that Matt has now..

If I were to do it again, I would have done atleast a +2 kit with basic B wheels

I get that, it becomes a never ending rabbit hole. I may have a cab mount relocate waiting to be installed at Maners.:anonymous: I'm already rubbing my firewall though which is noticeable since I was sent the wrong spring rate but it will be bad full lock compressed even with the correct spring rate. I'm not ready to jump into a LT build. Its hard enough to park the truck around dallas as is, I dont want it any wider as my daily. If I did I would likely end up with Marlins +2.75RCLT and am in no way ready to drop 8k on front suspension. Then I would want a custom rear axle, probably a ford 9", to match the width and at that point would feel like I'm cheating myself if I dont go ahead and link it.
If I got rid of my current wheels and didnt lose my ass I would end up with the standard Ray 10's and get them custom coated.

The coating on these ones we got were shitty. I can't speak for scs wheels in general but a covid19 sneeze on them would chip the paint :bananadead:

From what I've seen there main colors are better. The brushed bronze and blue are horrible. Not sure about the other custom colors.
