Wife fell in love with So Cal. Realistically we are likely moving south into the East Coast mountains first and retiring somewhere out west.

@jubei this^^ It's wasted space and where I am putting my second.

Built a winch plate the other day. Pretty happy with how it turned out. Now on to building a bumper to finish off the front endIMG_4747.jpg

Replaced the lower ball joints on my ‘03 PreRunner. Wasn’t as bad an experience as I thought it was going to be. I said more curse words getting the cotter pins out.
    Replaced with OEM.
Last pic is the new one installed
Also included a pic of the old bolts. The ones with the most corrosion are the ones that bolt in closest to the knuckle.

about 5 years ago I did the headlight retrofit w/ projectors in the housing. My driver side headlight quit working. I did the trouble shooting by switching parts over to the passenger side and everything works on that side. my last guess was replacing the wiring harness... I have decided against it and am now just gonna go back to stock. My question to the group is how much do you think I could ask for everything? My thought was $50 because the projectors and housings are in good shape but the housings do need to be opened up again because the paint I used on the inside started to peel and the Halos I had around projector housing quit working.

    The headlights are 2001-2004 models

I have an NWTI rear kit sitting in my garage. Ended up taking on too many projects and haven't gotten around to learning to weld. Good to know a rear swingout is still viable with the bumper sitting closer to the bed than the Relentless Fab wrap around.

@jammer - I'm thinking about replacing mine and would you recommend replacing the lower control arm at the same time or is it alright to do only the lower ball joint? Trying to figure out where to draw the line before I end up replacing everything lol

That ain’t the word. Someone replaced it once and actually crimped the tube for the output side and that’s why it wasn’t getting hot that much. Now it gets hot asf.

Hello.....I guess it depends on the condition of your lower control arm. I don’t leave in the rust belt so mine is in good shape. In doing this project I’m also replacing the coils/shocks. I’ve disconnected the sway bar link so I can have more leverage on pressing the lower control arm down. Lol...reason I say this is I’ve gotten up close and personal with the lower control arm trying to wrangle in the new coil/springs.
View of the lower control arm and the outer tie rod that is going to be replaced (both sides).
