24.4 arces. 28 foot camper on the property. First 1/4 of the property is clear field, the rest is oak and maple trees. Small stream running through the land as well as a dug well. No power ran.

 

We hear that a lot from you.

 

Easy access? It's not land locked by chance? I know zero about your area but that sounds too cheap.

Right off the road. I thought cheap at first, but the market in the entire area looks to match in price mostly. And the market as a whole is going to shit, so might as well take advantage of it

 

My plan is run about 500 watts of solar on the top of the camper. Possibly have a garage/workshop built. Buy a 150 gallon water holding tank and set it up for rain collection. At the other end install a water filtration system.

 

Land around here is averaging $10k an acre. They developed across from our house and are selling 1/2 acre lots for $84k. It’s crazy. We want to sell and move about 45 minutes away on about 20 acres so we can hunt and have some privacy and I can still work in the machine shop I’m at now.

 

And you see that clear field for taco meets!?!

 

Sounds like a pretty good deal. And a lot to mow if you choose to keep alot of it mowed. Properties a decent distance away can be a huge pain in the ass. But also can be a great retreat.
How are taxes in the area? Reasonable?
