I just got my Prinsu roof rack, Cali Raised lightbar, and ditch lights about a week ago. Haven't had the chance to install though because I'm doing distance learning everyday with my kids and trying to work from home at the same time. Then on weekends I'm trying to keep the kids sane and run errands before the stores close.
    Its driving me bananas!!:bananadead::bananadead:

Who's down to put on some mods? I'll provide beer, you bring a mask :anonymous::anonymous::rofl::rofl:

Those mods are right up my alley but I’m in the same boat as you - working during the week and taking care of the fam on the weekends. I have a punch tool for the weather stripping unless you plan to leave it off entirely.

Sweet! I was planning on keeping it on I think.
Well hopefully at some point we can plan to do it and if anyone wants to come over I'll buy a bunch of pizzas and beer. I'd love to fill my street with Tacos and make the neighbors jealous lol.

    (WARNING: Small vent session approaching)

    Well...

Looks like I'm coming back to Colorado!

I'm an OR nurse and moved to Seattle awhile back (before the coronavirus thing really took off). But now I'm getting laid off. Which I think is weird because even though there aren't a lot of surgeries going on, I (and others) volunteered to change to different units that needed help or at least float over there temporarily. We were told no. Instead, I have been pressure washing food carts, removing bugs from light fixtures, guarding parking lots, screening employees, and a whole bunch of other stuff (other than patient care) for the past couple weeks. Also, if all the work gets done, I get low-censused and sent home early which reduces my paycheck. Meanwhile we are told that the ED and ICUs are getting hammered.

I applied for other local jobs in other hospital systems and was told by hospital recruiters that they are looking for experienced RNs in the specialty or new grads. It's frustrating to want to help out and being able to meet the job requirements but being told no for a reason that I have yet to understand.

So now I've just decided to head back to Colorado. If I have to be unemployed and homeless, at least I'll be somewhere I feel comfortable. LoL

I figured it out... added an extension to my bike rack and since it rises in height with each extension, it was the height of the bed. Completely solid, unlike how I imagine those cheap extensions.

https://cdola.colorado.gov/search-and-rescue-fund "The CORSAR card is not insurance and does not reimburse individuals nor does it pay for medical transport."

SAR teams do not charge the rescue-ee. What CORSAR funds do is help reimburse the SAR teams (volunteers!) for expenses incurred when executing a rescue (food, fuel), and for training expenses and gear. If a helicopter is used to extract the injured, that's the same as an ambulance ride for which you/the injured are financially responsible (thus, your medical insurance if you have some).

Only .25 cents from the money paid for a hunting or fishing license goes to CORSAR. That's not the same as having a CORSAR card. One of those costs $3 for one year, or buy a five year card for $12. Buy here: https://dola.colorado.gov/sar/cardPurchase.jsf

CORSAR funds help ensure there are SAR teams able to respond quickly. With less funding comes a less-prepared and/or capable team.

SAR teams will always respond, regardless if the rescue-ee paid for a CORSAR card or has contributed $0.25 via their license (or OHV registration, etc.).

What is not covered (and was mentioned in that article about the St. Mary's Glacier rescue) is the personal property (boots, clothing, etc.) of SAR volunteers.

EDIT: Here's their fact sheet, which is a short, and good read: https://www.coloradosarboard.org/csrb-documents/CORSARCardFactSheet.pdf

I was always understood that it was up to the County to decide if a charge should be incurred. I swear the folks who used their SPOT 2-3 times somewhere in the Clear Creek Canyon got charged a few years ago as well as escorted out by the Sheriff.
Granted this was truly an outlier, and that group a bunch of morons but I recall a charge of a few thousand from Denver post story on it.
