I think he has proven you can beat on an aluminum bumper and it does a dam good job of protecting you're ride.

The hoop came off after hitting a second tree, first tree broke one of the 4 welds. Steel likely would have handled that better. All the rest from love taps on the trail likely wouldn't be wildly different.

Got the passenger side hanger rivets removed, now I just need the black truck back to get the @ARCHIVE hammer hangers off to swap.

@desertjunkie760 welded up some spindle gussets for me and they'll get dropped for powder coat when I pick up the sliders, hopefully on Monday. Any suggestions on color? I know how little they get seen so I'm game for anything that is a single stage color. Leaning towards red.

Stick with the blaze orange. It’s kinda been your thing.

Unless you’re doing a different colour for this truck?

Orange doesn't work great with brown, unless you're a Cleveland fan.

Red is the color Toyota uses on the TRD sticker for Pyrite Mica.

    Truck stuff
Red would be good. Yellow might work and then your spindles could match @Naveronski. Not sure what else would go well with the pyrite mica.

Picked up the sorta color matched sliders from the powder coater. They aren't a perfect match but good enough for what they are.

Dropped off the gusseted spindles, the winch power bracket from @Gilmorec61 and the hi lift slider adapter from @ZKuhl to get coated Red Baron, the most obnoxious red color they have. Those should be ready by the end of the week.

Also playing the waiting game for some Dirt King stock length LCAs.

In the shade they are pretty close but in the sun the truck and sliders go different directions colorwise.

Nice! Excited to see how the bracket turns out. Keep in mind due to the tight clearances on the switch opening, that you may have to sand some of the powder down on the inside lip for the switch to fit properly!

It is, down the road id like to offer them powder-coated but will likely have to open the large hole up ~.025” or so.

Anodizing shouldn't add a significant amount of thickness, might be worth exploring if there's a local option for that.
