Took the better part of the week and built my own bed cover. It's coated in Tuff Coat Marine paint. It's got rubbery bits in it - mostly used on boats and docks. Ought to last a while. The removable hatch cover at the front gives access to loading/unloading and it's held in place by spring-loaded dowels. The platform is held onto the bed rails with typical topper c-clamps. Was a fun project - lots of time on hands these days.

If you'd like one, happy to build it! :)

Even the rubber splash guard looks to be original and not dry rotted .

See, it's not always squeaky clean. There is dust in between the gaps on the rack n pinion boot covers.

lol..it's a sickness. I'm extremely ocd, and cleaning my truck is my stress relief. I purchased it new, and I'm desperately trying to keep her looking new.

Right. It absolutely is. ETCS-I trucks have an entire other harness right there in the middle of the ECU.

Someone said earlier only the limited came with VSC. I think it’s all tied into the ETCS-I bullshit. Maybe the diagram is misleading. Don’t know.

I have a 02 4Runner ECU. Might swap it in and test the difference.

Vsc was not limited only, it was an option for most higher trim levels I believe. Super rare in tacos. Not as rare in 4runners

Well Might I say it’s paid off well. That things MINT I think it’s cleaner than half these under 20k ones popping up on bringatrailer and what not.

It was quite common in 4 runners

Considering how the limited trim was the highest selling trim
