Sounds like they have made it official today that camping on crown land is prohibited.

For Ontario at least, I believe.

    One of the bullets

Prohibiting recreational camping on Crown land as of April 9, 2020. Under the emergency order, no individual can camp on Crown land, including the placement of tents or other camping structures, while the order is in effect. The government will continue to monitor the situation and re-evaluate if further actions are required.

Will we be able to go through the trails without camping? Just curious.

My understanding is that there is a provincial order under the Emergencies Act, that orders residents to stay at home and avoid non essential travel. In some cases these measures are enforced, but mostly they rely on citizens to do the right thing. It seems to be working, which is why the roads are so empty. It’s a question sort of like, can I get away with speeding on the 401? Yeah, probably, but then maybe not. If you kill someone you’ll be charged for sure. With a lot of our most vulnerable citizens depending on us flattening the curve, it seems to me everyone should put them first, and not themselves. We can drive the trails in a few months, I’m sure.

Here’s a guy that posted yesterday on the Ontario 4x4 recovery Facebook page. Not too cool, but hey shit happens all the time, eh?

AEE66CF9-4C00-4939-989F-F7485CB52F36.jpg --------Got someone to come get me thanks for the help guys------------Hey guys, I hate to be the one making this post, especially with all thats been going on. My TJ is stuck in the pole line just off Hwy 11N in North Bay. She was stuck somewhere else and once we got her out today the pole line was my only option to get out but she's sank in. I have permission to cross a property from Roy Dr that gets me right behind the jeep on solid ground. I have tow straps and everything but I need a good tug to get out. She's hung up on the ice and in the skeg. Willing to pay gas and a case of beer or whatever since she's my daily. Any help would be appreciated. I'm out of the bush tonight, looking to go back tomorrow.

Looks like a typical Jeeper. Jeeping on private property, gas line, that is marked everywhere no trespassing. I know exactly where he is stuck. I used to rip those trails with my enduro motorcycle and my truck for a year or 2 until they clearly marked them all no trespassing.

We have so many unmaintained roads up here that are in prime condition right now to rip on, hard pack still that if you get close to the edge you can get stuck, makes it so fun.

This is why I stopped using social media, people that like that seem to be the majority.

The funny thing Is he doesn’t even look to be stuck that badly.
