New boom stick a couple of days ago. Finished the new Magpul forend today. Had to modify the inside but was able to follow a good Youtube tutorial on it. Still have the rail and brace to install.

Bought some ear pro, I've never gotten too fancy with ear pro and really haven't cared for the muffs that I've tried so I've always used in ear stuff from cheap foamies to peltor plugs and after shooting unsuppressed 98% of yesterday I decided that I was due for an upgrade.
I got 3 sets of muffs, 3 walkie talkie units to go on them, and 3 sets of gel pads to replace the OEM ones.
My mom or sister will probably use the teal one, the FDE is a spare, and the black one with Bluetooth will be my main headset.
Time to invest in some AAA batteries.

    Nice!

Gel is a must imo. So much better.

I wasn't terribly thrilled about dropping $350 for 3 sets of ear pro but I believe redundancy is a nice positive and being able to easily communicate with other on the range or on the property without cell phones is a positive.

Yes, I've never used gel for standard ear pro but I have used Bose headsets in a Cessna that had Gel and they were much more comfortable than the cheap headset I was using before when we flew.

Good hearing protection is an area where there is no room for sacrifice imo. I've got a mild case of tinitus from too much unprotected shooting as a youngster (teens & 20's).

When I'm solo, the foam inserts offer the best decibel reduction. Love that they don't interfere with stocks, eye protection, etc. I wear them when vacuuming, weed-whacking, etc.

Couple years back in invested in a set of MSA Sordin Supreme Pro X electronic ear muffs for at range, groups, etc Well worth the $$.

As they say...buy once cry once.

Edit - still have Walkers and Peltors for friends/backup

I completely agree, I just didn't follow what I told others

I looked at the Sordins but Tim (MAC) had a video talking about various ear pro and he said that he personally didn't feel a difference between the MSA's and Peltor Pro Tac headsets but the MSA's had feedback problems occasionally.

I stumbled upon that same video soon after my purchase.

I've only done a drive through purchase of a firearm. They're not letting anyone inside, so I don't know about the volume of product. They set up a good system of 15 minute blocks per customer and are using a side kitchen window as the transaction area.

Love feedback on the walkie talkie attachments. I thought about those but some of the bad reviews turned me off. A more trusted opinion would be great!

I really like the Apache cases. Found some 6.5 Grendel ammo at a decent price. Still waiting on my Elander mags from Larue. Said they were in stock when I ordered but when I check my order it says Back ordered.

We haven’t started doing drive thru but we are having a hard time keeping the shelves full

Orders arrive daily but it’s a crapshoot on what it is and we often have empty shelves waiting on the orders to come in

Guns are ok order wise, but complete ARs under $1000 and Glocks are basically impossible to get right now...and tactical pump shotguns seem to be also disappearing at a much faster rate than normal...ammo is trickling in and I’ve been able to keep that somewhat stocked but it’s all basically 50count boxes of target stuff that that’s it

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
I have the walker earpro. Overall I am very happy. At a distance you can hear better, and the protection is there. At the indoor range, when you could go, I think the gel would have helped. It was a little loud, but still felt protected.

Good to know, I never shoot indoors (last time I shot indoors was over 7 years ago) but I think the gel cups will be really comfy. I’m looking forward to getting them in.

I looked at those but didn't really want to spend that much and not get BT functionality, they have really good reviews though.

Well, I'll wade into this thread.
The last go 'round we had with the panic buying I waited and got what I needed after the prices dropped. I reload so I have plenty of powder, bullets and primers. If you are on the fence and shoot a lot, reloading is worth it.
