    Well, you do have bright lights waking her up probably! Not like Lady Gaga, she shines in lights!

    So it seems Lady Gaga insists on working tirelessly...

    The webbing is thicker throughout and the entrance is more pronounced. I should say, one of many entrances...

    20200414_003210.jpg

    This is what stood out most, on the backside of the wood. Before, it was a single tunnel that was at one point, set up with thin trip wires. Got home and the whole thing was cleared. Today however, there are two more holes! See if you can spot them...

    20200414_003155.jpg

    You'll notice I removed the tiny wood piece near the water dish, she wasn't using it at all.

    And last but not least, that little tunnel below the main entrance? Its got webbing spun up throughout

    20200414_003224.jpg

    She's making dad proud :D

    Question for you T folks:

    @Kwikvette
    @Pinay
    @boogie3478

    I kinda get the fascination with the new world T's, beauty of their markings, fuzzyness, how they move, feed, etc.

    Help me with the attraction to the old world, no fuzz, creepy appearance, hugely defensive species. Personally, the more the species of T resembles a typical house/barn spider, just on a much larger basis, the more my fascination/appreciation immediately spirals down to the primeval "squish it" response. And that black-as-pitch scorpion of @boogie3478, that ?!@#$% evokes some dark medieval response that must have been hard wired in our DNA, cause "squish it" isn't the half of it.

    And the webbers. Those that burrow and/or web to the point of only catching glimpses now and again. Is it the interest in the extent of the webbing that replaces that in the T itself?

    Thanks for the thread, BTW. Stop here now and again to get all the T fix I'll ever need without any commitment.

    Plenty of beautiful Ts from both the New World and Old World side but that of course comes down to your personal preference. Aside from enjoying a certain species from the Old World, I think having Old World Ts in your collection is sort of a badge of honor among enthusiasts since they are inherently more dangerous than the New World Ts because of their behavior and venom.

    For the webbers they can certainly be fun but also frustrating if you rarely get to see them.

    Oh and I almost forgot :D :

    I'm looking for the thumbs down button. Response to that thing really is at a Neanderthal level.

    Read a story years ago about one of the insecticide manufacturers deliberately concocting their product to kill roaches/etc. slowly because human instinct was to enjoy watching their slow demise.

    I get it now.

    PM me your address and I'll have Amazon ship a case of Raid on my dime.

    BUT, I want to watch that thing expire. Quick is fine. Dead isn't negotiable.

    Let me know.
