    Very nice, @FirstTimeTaco2020!

Get a picture of your wall posted, @Jc4x4!

I did a pallet wall in my theater room a few years ago.

My "everything must be straight" engineering brain couldn't just tear the pallets apart, stain them and slap them on the wall. I had to run each row through the table saw so they were all even. Thi gs did not go well before I did that.

A friend took a piece of the pallet wood and made me a receptacle cover plate on his CNC machine.

Unfortunately it's behind the couch so no one will ever see it!

Done painting for the day. It's getting too dark. I should be able to finish it up tomorrow and my son's new bed is coming around 2:00 so it's going to be a busy day.

I actually didn’t stain them.. Those were all natural, just like I found them. I cut them apart by cutting the nails with a reciprocating saw. I think the hardest part was deciding what board was going up next and where in order to keep similar boards from being too close together lol

I had envisioned a weathered gray cedar color but couldn't find a stain that could mimic that color and still let the grain show through. I also would have liked the various colors like you have but didn't want to have to buy numerous stains. My OCD would have gone off the charts keeping the colors from being next to each other. I already had an Excel file for a cut list so none of the seams lined up vertically.

    A thing or two...
Started cleaning out the beds in front of the house today. Lots of leaves, pine needles, weeds, and bushes growing where they don't need to be. I didn't take any before/after pictures. I worked for about 3 hrs and only got through the bed along the short side of the garage. I had to stop to cooldown/relax and then the rain came.

Enjoying a cool glass of muscle relaxer now.

Added a generator inlet box and manual transfer switch in case the power goes out so my generator can power the whole house (excluding the dryer and stove - both 220a). I don’t know every single electrical code, so I didn’t cut any original wires and installed everything so that it’s easy to revert everything back in case we sell the house.

Before (Main breaker, SO cord coming from the top goes to the electrical panel on other side of garage).

The plan (reroute SO cord to transfer box, then up to electrical panel. Mount inlet box outside of garage and connect to other pole of transfer box)

And yes I did a shitty job with the sheetrock LOL. Measured on the wrong side of the stud (as seen by the opening being the same exact width as the stud). Going to cover it up with a small piece of sheetrock using machine screws and backing it with small metal brackets. Still not going to look as clean but open to ideas. Maybe a shroud of some sort?

*edit: shoutout to @916TacoTruck and @jberry813 for answering all my electrical questions.

Well because of this whole ordeal I’m home like everyone else with all the time in the world for projects.

I ordered all new door hardware for the house and a few new light fixtures.

Next will be a pergola in the back. I love that we live in a day and age of everything can be delivered right to your door.

For any electrician here, is it a pain to do MWBCs??
I already ran 12/3 to double gang box. My plan is to power each receptacle by one leg. From that box run another 12/3 to another double gang box and power two more receptacles.
I know I have to pigtail each receptacle and use a double pole breaker.
I plan to install gfci at each location.
Or should I just toss this idea and run 2 12/2s instead??

    @Panchovilla6192002

I can't say which is easier or more correct but depending on where the receptacles are going and how they're laid out, you might not need all 4 to be GFCI, potentially just the one furthest upstream. That one then protects everything downstream from it. I think it might not be code (or possible just unnecessarily redundant) to stack GFCIs. Maybe.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Do you even need a gfci? Where are the receptacles going to be? If you have four total recepts you don't need 12/3. The first receptacle needs to be the gfci. The remaining 3 will run form the load side of the gfci.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
Please explain what you are trying to accomplish. As stated before, you only need one GFCI (per circuit) at the "first" outlet. It is nice to have 2 lines in that close proximity. You already have the wire run, so mine as well do it. Code here is a handle tie between the two breakers, due to the shared neutral.

should have been more specific. My bad.
These are for a detached garage/shop. I want to have two outlets side by side on different circuits. It’s overkill because I know I won’t do anything other than the typical DIY for the cars or the house. It’s just because why not.
    It’s a 25x25 garage.
From what I read, NEC calls for gfci on outlets at the garage.

A quick search says you're correct and unless there's one upstream like I mentioned before (and I don't think there is), none of the receptacles in my garage are GFCI and the house was built in 2012, 4 years after that went into effect.

Edit: I stand corrected. The receptacle that my sprinkler system is plugged into is the closest to the panel and is GFCI. All of the others are covered, then.

My latest project is pressure washing the fence. I would not be surprised if this fence was never cleaned.
I used "30 second outdoor cleaner", let it sit for about 5 minutes or so. pressure washed an area and then re-sprayed the cleaner afterwards.
Here are the results. I will update when I completely finish also.

Also, I may stain it when I'm done...haven't decided yet. what do y'all think?
