TRD Offroad 3rd Gen Grill Chipping

Bought my 2019 TRD Offroad tacoma back in August 2019 and have around 6000 miles on it. I mostly drive it to and from work, but do drive highway and trails a bit, in most Wyoming weather conditions. I have noticed, in the small amount of time I have owned it, that the inner section of my grill (the glossy-dark-gray part) has already started to get quite a bit of small chips in it, exposing the chrome underneath the paint. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem this early on, and if anyone has any solutions to it? Below are some example photos of my truck. Not a big problem, just a little annoying this early into owning the truck.

 

Could be the car/truck in front of you throwing stuff back at you. I have a 2019 and no problems. I stay as far back of the guy in front of as I can.

 

2019 does not have the same grill, so yes, you would not have this problem.
