A little of this and a little of that.
Yep, it’s a Monday. Went to put the garage door up and one of the torsion springs broke. Fortunately I had a spare set of springs that I got from a neighbor last year when I helped him convert half his garage and he downsized to a single car door.

I try not to be a pack rat, but this time it paid off.

Would have done more but I had a sewing machine malfunction and decided to do a little maintenance oiling and cleaning everything while I had it apart.

Good morning :pccoffee: Find out this week when and how much furlough time I have to take. In the meantime did my project management worksheet for last week and more than half my time was COVID-19. And weekly hour total was a lot higher than usual. Have a feeling my furlough is not going to come in the next month I'm sure that it will be AFTER any Federal or State benefits are available. But will not shed any tears if it is during hunting season and neither would the dog.

Hard to like due to the week 4 of not working. We ended up with 7" so less than they thought.

    April13.jpg

High of 34 today and 31 tomorrow but by Thursday supposed to get up to 40. Really don't want to get the snow blower out but should do a pass up and down to get trash up to the road tomorrow. Maybe..

HIPAA rules have been changed (relaxed) for COVID-19 in ways I thought they never would. In part due to telemed but it has expanded from there. We are still doing HIPAA requirements as usual, for the most part. That has been one of my challenges for the last month trying to make it happen with most everyone working from home.

Yes there is some very strong evidence and direct line patient care is now wearing eye protection either glasses or shields. Came out today that all patients will wear masks and if they don't have one need to be offered one. And if they refuse to wear one they are to be escorted out the door. Right now PPE for staff is critical and in short supply. Everywhere, at all sites.

I'm not that fast, and I did a bunch of other stuff. I also don't know how you can do it. After an hour at the machine my back is ready to murder me.

This is from the handout I got.
"Once at the front of the line, you will enter a privacy enclosure or other defined area for screening."

It's still work and I don't trust anything to be private.
