Looking for photos of people with Bilstein 5100 set at either 1.1'' or 1.55'' - not looking for photos with aftermarket springs etc.

Having 5100's installed tonight on all four on my stock 2017 Tacoma TRDOR and confused between the two settings it seems people mainly choose.

Looking to level the front out with the rear, or have the front a tad nose high because I will likely do an AAL or a 1'' tapered block in the rear soon anyway.

    Thanks in advance

I know 0.85 will level, nothing in the rear.

    I believe the 0.85 will be for the second gen 5100, I purchased the 3rd gen and the options are Stock > 0.65 > 1.1 > 1.55 > 2.0

This is stock coils on 4th notch 1.55" and 1/4" spacer o driver side for lean, and 1" tapered block in the rear. 265/70/17 KO2s

I'm going to switch to OME 885 coils in the next month or so because the ride is kinda bumpy on stock coils.
About half an inch of rake still

If you go with the 1.1" front you will be slightly nose high, but if you add a leaf or block you will have factory rake again. I suggest you go with 1.55" and sir nose high until you do something to the rear. 1.1" front and 1" block or AAL makes it look like stock even though it's an inch higher. Trust me.

Did you lift the rear at all?
Was there any settling or any other issues in front? Did you need UCA’s?

Yeah I lifted the rear like 1.5” after I put the shell on with a deaver AAL. I’m still on stock UCAs. No issues! Tires are 265/75/167406CFAA-FB45-4CC2-9815-F6C1254C75BE.jpg

How are you liking the deaver AAL? I’m getting a shell soon but I also have DIY bed drawers and carry a bunch of gear in the bed all of the time. Not sure if the deaver will be sufficient for my needs or not. What’s your take?

Is your truck a long bed?

How much weight do you have in your truck? Have you ever weighed it?

No I really should though. I just started making stuff ever since the whole quarantine started lol. If I were to guess I probably have 300, maybe more in the back right now with gear and drawers.

It’s a little stiff but nothing too bad. Before the shell there was a good amount of rake but the shell brought it back down a little. I’ve carried probably a thousand pounds of gear in the bed and didn’t have any issues. You should be fine, but a full leaf replacement would be more optimal if you have the funds.
