Seeing as myself and I’m sure many others are getting hit hard with cabin fever, let’s compile a list of what’s open and what there is to do to get out of the house. This list can be scenic drives (on/off road), parks, etc.

bearizona is open for the 3 mile drive and 1 mile walk area.

out of Africa is open, you can drive through the park but tours and shows are closed.

If anyone has scenic drives or other activities, let’s hear them.

My neighbor ran crown king the other day, it’s still open. If anyone wants to get together for a trail run I’m free weekdays now since school is all online.

Reddington Road was open a few days ago still down here in Tucson. I am not sure if the back side of Mt. Lemmon is still open but the north side might have seen some ice/snow today anyway.

Anyone know if trails in Sedona are open? Broken arrow is a quick trail that’s good for an afternoon getaway.

Broken Arrow is still open last time I checked.

If someone organizes something I'm always down for some Broken Arrow.

If you’re down to go wheeling with a Jeep I’m mostly free any week day.

Certainly. I still have a job, thankfully, so my weekdays are still pretty full, though work is slowing down a bit.

Any weekend availability? Sedona is dead because of Covid-19 (been down every weekend for a month now), so now's a good time to take some of its beauty in.

weekdays are preferred for me since school is online now and I can easily do my classes in the evening. However, we can do a weekend run if that’s your only available time. Aside from broken arrow, that’s a quick couple hour trail... I’m not sure how well your truck is built, have you ever considered moss wash? It’s probably a closer drive for you than Sedona. I don’t think it’s too aggressive of a trail but will challenge a mildly built Tacoma.

    @MR E30

I saw your trucks build thread, I won’t recommend moss wash for you. I think you would risk some damage to your truck on that trail. I try to find technical trails since I’m more into the crawling deal. However, broken arrow is always acceptable since it has amazing scenery and a couple decent technical areas. You have any favorites aside from broken arrow that we can add to a list?

I’m doing another trip this Saturday with a Jeep crew, I’m open next week for a run.

otherwise, use this thread to organize small runs. Keep in mind we’re limited to no more than 10 people and there are fines of up to $5,000 per person for having groups of 10 or larger.

I just did a quick solo run on smiley rock. If there’s another capable rig I’d be curious to run it again but stay in the river bed since there’s many more large rocks and a few waterfall areas. Seeing as I was solo I stayed away from the more “interesting” areas.

Saturday is good. 9a at the BLM Campground?

Saturday was a go until I talked to the wife. Sunday is a better day I guess.

Say, I have a 2019 TRD Offroad and am looking for someone who wants to take pity on a newbie and go out somewhere and help teach some basics of 4 wheeling / off roading. I run around a fair amount in Pinal county (live in Oro Valley), up to the Gila River, over to Copper Creek, and so on. I occasionally get into 4H, once in a while in 4LO, but not often. Mostly I am just on dirt tracks. I am ready to get dirty. I am semi-retired so I set my own world days and hours.
