Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

Same here, opened up as much as possible today.

 

Just working and trying to live life normally. Taking my kids to the store, road trips, and telling everyone they are overreacting.

I'm also hurting inside for our country, But I can talk about that on here.

 

Hey there Houston. I'm waiting for this stimulus check so I can upgrade my head unit. Hopefully Abbott gives us something good today in his address to the state.

 

I'm seriously considering donating mine to a worthy cause right now. My house is all healthy and we're all still working.

I agree to not trusting most charities. I know some local churches are doing the grocery bag donations and I hear Houston food bank is pretty good still.

 

Yes sir. Church provides guidance to locals that provide most dollars to where its needed so will look there first.

Still torn since I will also be paying a shit load back to the feds anyway

 

I decided my worthy cause was half as an extra payment to principle on the 4runner and the other half in savings in case my mom needs anything.

Always amazes me that the small business' who need the help are the ones who "magically" don't qualify......

 

It was something stupid. Like they only put aside 20 million for small businesses. But it went over 100 million. So they said no more! I think I can still apply for the loan?
