    Thanks to all of you who are voting I cook every day but almost never with a recipe as they just tend to aggrevate me. I enjoy it and after working all day (when I was working) it gave me some mental down time and helps me to relax. Plus my wife doesn't mind having dinner ready when she gets home either and I get to eat something I like

    once i get going i just get in the zone and lose all track of time. yeah, my back hurts after a while but i try to break things up by leaving more cutting, ironing, etc so i move around a lot and give my back a break. since i'm doing these in bulk i've been doing 6 at a time. cut everything. sew the first part in all 6 (12 since its the same for the inner and outer), iron all 6 (12), back to the machine for sewing the next step in all of them.
    i'm down to about 2.5 hours for a batch of 6 from start to finish
