Was driving from San Diego to Virginia and had the same thing happen to me somewhere in Texas. Not fun much fun.

Wow... my camera sucks - or maybe it's "subject matter". Nice truck.

I have the same headlights. I’m not crazy about the light output. I’m seriously thinking about going back to the stock headlight this fall ( it doesn’t get dark as early in the summer ).

I've got a TRDOR and can confirm that this hole is still there. Used it for my accessory wiring, and then for the switchpro after I upgraded.

I just ordered a set of N-FAB Podiums. I'd been eyeing them for a while because I wanted one that was a little more enclosed just in case they get slippery in the winter. A set showed up on Amazon marked down from $417 to $308, hopefully just because of a damaged box and not the steps themselves. Guess I'll find out on Saturday!

Added a black mirror switch to almost complete my chrome delete. Takes 10 minutes to install.
take aplastic tool and gently pry the window switch panel off, then gently unplug the window and mirror switch connectors. With plastic tool gently pry out sides of mirror switch while pushing out. Align new switch and press back in and plug all connectors back in. Part number below. I found a good deal on 2018 Camry switch. Identical to Tacoma.

3 years of hard 'wheeling? I've been on the fence about getting these so I'm curious if there's any kind of backstory.

    Sure is an eye opener.
I've had AAA for years and the one time that I really needed it they didn't come thru. Don't get me wrong it was just one incident but I've learned that when it comes right down to it the only person you can rely on when things go bad is you.

Stopped to get a room outside of Sydney Nebraska. No rooms available. Came back out to head on down the road and the battery was dead. AAA in the middle of nowhere at 2AM? Not happening.

I do my best to never get caught like that ever again. You can't fix every bad situation but running out of gas is one you can avoid. I'll be doing a RotoPax mounted in the bed at some point just in case. 1 gas, 1 water.

On the bright side it didn't happen off road and in the boonies. Still sucks though.
