That can be said of any mod you do, tell me a company that warranties your whole car because you're installing their product? They don't. Why? They can't guarantee you'll follow directions correctly or not use their product as a reason to get your problems covered that potentially aren't related. We're not an insurance company, and neither is any after market accessory retailer I know of, do you? I can sit here and speak nothing but the best of the product, but you don't have to believe me. You can only go off of reviews, as those are real users of the product. Find one that says what you're stating HAS happened, with respects to our product...It's plug n play, so honestly it eliminates a lot of the potential mistakes of tapping the wrong wire.

What funny intermittent problems? I know of none, haven't had any.

Our warranty is the standard one year, you can read our terms. However, we've been known to hear people out past warranty on a case by case basis and have taken care of them regardless as long as the product isn't discontinued or legacy, and they didn't run it over with their truck. We've had about 2, maybe 3 of those total, all of which we ate the cost and kept people happy (and all of which they screwed something up during an unrelated install in the same vicinity. We've sold thousands, not one has caused any issues...

You should probably let the Toyota Dealerships across the US and in Canada who buy and install our products know that they're voiding the Toyota warranty :D;)

I would provide references, but then again, I am not trying to convince you or force you. To each his own...I'm just stating the facts.

Have you actually had a chance to use any of our products or have a remote starter in general? Because I AM LIKE YOU, and in theory, you are somewhat right...to an extent on any mod for that matter. You just have to do your research and it seems you have...with that said, what "havoc" have you seen other brands cause, and were they plug n play, or user error? I can't install it for you, but we do give really good resources to ensure you minimize any mistakes.

Hey guys. I got your product installed and programmed yesterday. I was able to get it into ready mode at first, but not get the truck to start. I checked all the connections and found no problems, left the truck to go eat. When I returned I could not even get it into ready mode, and a solid red light was illuminated on the evo one unit. Fortins website FAQs say it needs to be plugged in flashed and power cycled etc. Is this something I can do myself or do I need to send it into you. Thanks in advance

    Cool stuff
I have a 19 off-road , this kit is solid and the service is top notch. Getting into ready mode was challenging at first but after a few tries and getting an understanding of what the computer is looking for , it’s a breeze.... The procedure needs to be started with the car in gear.... that was my biggest hurdle.

Thanks, i wish they wouldnt. One of things i like about my ford remote start, is that when you start the vehicle the accessory power stays off. So basically the engine running but the rest of the vehicle is off if you look at the interior. If you manage to bypass the locks and get in, It still wont let you drive away without the keys in the vehicle. If you attempt to put it in gear without the keys then only will it turn off.

Yeah it's the dumbest thing but I'm sure money has something to do with it.

Not true gents. ONLY toyota/lexus PUSH TO START does. Anything else like HKEY AT, HKEY MAN, and Standard Key (Base model SRs) do not. You GET key take over with those. Meaning you can unlock the remote started vehicle, get in, put the key in two clicks to ON position, tap the brake pedal, and off you go as if the key started it. Your engine never turns off if it's NOT a Toyota/Lexus Push to Start that is.

So then can you make one that does not turn off when you open the door? Cause that I would buy, had the same in my Ram and loved not having to restart it after I open the door.
