That would be great! One thing I'm worried about is removing my ceramic coating in the process of fixing these scratches. I talked to the detail shop that applied the ceramic coating and I won't be able to get it into their shop until after the 24th with the shelter in place orders in affect.

no worries Blake. If you want to get those out, you’re going to have to get a DA polished and yes it will take the ceramic off. If you’d like, I can send you the videos that taught me how to do it. It seems intimidating, but if you take your time, it is a very rewarding process.

If they’re a quality shop, they shouldn’t have any issue doing it for you as well, and then re-applying a new coat of ceramic. May I ask what brand they used? Did they perform at least a 1step polish before application?

I messaged the shop on facebook and they said they are going to help me out once they re-open. I'd be pretty nervous taking a DA polisher to it so I'm going to let the professional's handle it.

Awesome truck. I’m in Missouri as well, about an hour from Springfield.

Thanks man! You have a good looking truck as well. I was hoping to try and setup a meetup sometime this summer when the virus blows over.

So I finally ran the calculations for my fuel economy, it came out to 14.8 MPG highway, which is about 270 miles for a full tank. Speeds were 65-75mph the whole trip.

The truck computer is no longer accurate so I ran the numbers myself. I knew I was going to take a hit with the mods but didn't think it would be this much.

Started to piece together some recovery gear. Bought some Maxtrax boards off Facebook marketplace for a good deal since they sat on the guys truck for awhile but were never used.

Got an ARB Recovery Strap - 17500 lbs, Soft Shackle, Walkie Talkie, and some mounts for my shovel.

My custom license plates finally came in! Only took 3 months, but they are surprisingly cheap in Missouri.

Spent a few hours cleaning the truck tonight. Used some products from ammonyc.com, I love this color/wheel combo so much.

Built half a platform for the bed of my truck to increase some of my storage capacity. Unfortunately the tent I bought is over 5 feet long so it needs to go diagonal in the bed. I also wanted to beable to open my cooler so half a platform was my solution.

I used 3/4 plywood, a birch 2x6 leftover from another project. I went to menards and spent $20 on an outdoor rug and some spay on glue. I'm really happy with the result and can fit 6 of my husky toats on top of it.

Spent four days overlanding 200 miles of the Ozark National Forest in Arkansas. I had a blast driving around gravel roads and a few jeep trails. 4lo and the locker got me through about 3 miles of trail that had lots of elevation changes, big rocks, huge mud holes and multiple creek crossings. Can't wait to go back with some friends.

Installed Course Motorsports Phone Mount. No more tossing the phone infront of the shifter or in the passenger seat. A little pricey at $45 but I think it's the cleanest option on the market.

Blake bro this is awesome! I'm putting together a 2020 voodoo blue dclb trail limo build myself and I love the method bronze, although I'm thinking 703s. I couldn't find any other tacos with this combo so I was going to go black, but you convinced me. It looks even better in the mud too. Unbelievable. As soon as I get around to making a build page I will tag you.

Phone mount wise check out quad lock. They have a wireless charger option that is super clean, and their locking mechanism is great for bumpy trails and works for bikes, motorcycles and everything in between. They even have attachments for ipads that would be sweet to mount in a trail rig.

Something I have been researching is an ez lift system for the topper than gives you a lot more room to set up the bed as a camper, but keep it useable for hauling. https://topperezlift.com

Hey, I'm looking at those same wheels and the same tire size. It looks amazing, but I'm on stock suspension and I'm worried about rubbing. I know its a little tight in the rear liner of the front wheels but have you had any problems with the methods? Thanks in advance!
