I’m curious about where you go and the results you have. A new paint job has been creeping into my mind as well. I mean, the truck is 15 years old later this year.

I removed my rear access cabs seats this weekend to build a platform. Never realized those seats provide some noise absorption! After removal, the air noise from the rear "vent" (that's behind the panel) was very noticeable. So much so that I'll probably put the seats back!

Edit: The noise is probably because I removed the rear seat belt latches also. And there's no bolts there currently so it's just an open hole to the road below. :D

I keep my access cab seats folded down and they provide a pretty good platform for my dog. Does your not do that ?

No they are different on the newer AC. My 06 did that too. But my 13 has separate fold down seats.

Mornin’! Go vote for my brisket so I can win some rub, I’m running low :D ....or someone else. Lotta good entries and you can vote for two.

First attempt at brisket, smoked for 12 hours over hickory, apple and charcoal. Seasoned flat with a local rub and the point with Pitfaced. Spritzed with bourbon instead of apple juice.

AFB in Charleston sounded their tornado alarms this morning.

Walterboro got hammered. Wonder if it was the same tornado that rolled through Dorchester County up to Berkeley County?

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.

I left the seat belts. Never got around to figuring out what bolt I need to plug the hole. No noise difference without seats for me.
