Long freaking day. Went to work on the flip (shh don’t tell my governor) got all the new stair area drywalled, corner bead up and first coat of mud on all of it. Started fixing all the floors upstairs where the HVAC guys cut out the flooring to put the AC in place. NOT happy with how much they took out and how sloppy of a job they did cutting. Told my partner we should bill them for fixing all this and that we will be using a new HVAC person next house. Once the floors are done being fixed and the city decides it can do inspections again then we are on to just finishing up the drywall on the second floor and painting, getting the new garage door and opener installed and then it’s ready to be put on the market.

Basically the idiot he was working with almost backed the ambulance off a wall with a large drop off. Luckily the truck got stuck right before it went over.

Yup. To top it off after it taking two hours to get the truck out of there and back to the station. His stupid ass went and got in the bed and left the Chief and my partner to clean the truck up. That worked out well for him.

Yea, I dig both, and I like both with a variety of different alcohols. Gosling makes a diet ginger beer that works very well. I do like them with dark liquors too. A good scotch, bourbon, whiskey. As for mojitos, man, any fresh fruit works with a good white rum. Blueberry, watermelon, whatever is in season. Lots of fresh mint. I use club soda because it keeps them crisp. And absolutely one of the best poolside drinks!

 

You could roast them over an open fire. That would give them a smoky flavor.

 

No dogs allowed.

 

I made some hashbrowns tonight, was about to reach for the olive oil but remember i had some of the butter from that smoked turkey breast. Scooped up some of the butter from the pan and fried the taters in that.... rrriiiiddddiiccccculllloousssss.
