To add: my KM3s felt much better while driving over baby head sized boulders at about 45MPH

Are you surprised though? Cheap tires aren’t good. Good tires aren’t cheap.

Mmm... I am only surprised by the fact that they weren't as grippy as I expected in Moab. They weren't bad, but I expected them to be like glue. I am wondering if they changed them when the black label came out.

Any update on these? I’m a big Chukar Hunter in Nevada, tires get chewed up easily. Hunting 50 days a year mostly driving up moderately steep rocky roads. Any hope to get 25k or 30k out of them?

They are a fairly soft compound tire so I wouldn't expect to get a lot of miles on them in really abrasive terrain (volcanics) like found in most chukar country.

They are excellent in snow though. :)

Online reviews seem good with the exception of mileage.

Several guys I'm impressed with on Youtube, including 'TrailRecon' seem to like them a lot.

I just ordered a set of Patagonias MTs in 265/75 16 to mount on factory steelies. I'll try to update as I use them.

I have a second set of wheels to run a dedicated off road tire, so I'm not super concerned with mileage; the off road tires won't see a ton of use. If I get a year out of them I'm happy with that. My regular street tires are 265/75 16 Destination ATs on factory steelies.

Shop said they've been selling some Patagoioa ATs with no bad feedback from customers, but this is the first set of Patagonia MTs they've ordered / sold.

Still happy with them. I hit the trail today and climbed a small but steep hill in 2wd where I previously had to use 4wd with Wildpeak AT3Ws.

You know how steep terrain looks in pictures but I was really impressed with their performance in 2wd and not relying on momentum.

I got no off road use, but the on road use so far has been good. They ride smooth and quiet.

I pulled the wheels with the MTs off already and reinstalled the daily Firestone ATs, but will reinstall the MTs for an upcoming Death Valley and Mojave Road trip.

PS I dig an aggressive MT on a steel base wheel. It just looks the business.

I am getting a set of these in 285/75r16 E rating installed on Wednesday. I’ll be sure to update as I put some miles on them. I drive about 70 miles a day for work on the highway with some camping trips a few times a month.

This is interesting feedback, they are cheap tires I guess I am not surprised. I have ran other cheap tires and had similar experience where getting 20k miles meant bald tires. Ever since I spent a little extra and never had the same problem again.
    I appreciate the review.

The STT Pro's are a super underrated tire in my opinion. Everyone always talks about the KM3's but the STT Pro's have much better traction.

I thought Cooper would be lower cost. Dang it.

Over priced is a relative term. It all how you think about it get Milestars MT's for 10k miles or Coopers for 40k miles. Are Milestars 1/4th the price?

If you only get 10k out of any tire I feel like something is wrong

So I’m 10k into my Patagonia MT’s and they have tons of tread on them. 2C972E7A-2B7A-4D6E-B7CF-67FC94DF2BFA.jpgMy measuring eyeball says that is 7/16”. I run 36psi front and rear on the hiway. They’ve seen tons of gravel, dirt, snow/ice. The last pair of Mt’s Ihad was Swamper radials and those lasted for about 25k miles before they were unsafe on wet roads. I still think they’re a great tire for the money.

How do they do on snow covered pavement?

Probably about as good as any other MT I’d assume
