Long Travel BS Thread

i was gonna swing by the shop today and check out my truck but didnt have time. gonna try to tomorrow but my day is looking pretty busy.

but as far as i know everything is on sched. and i should be able to pick up my truck monday morning.

I can't freaking wait. it's been 3+ weeks with out my truck

 

Hey its a big deal. I have had no power in it since I bought it. Now its running good. I got beat by a 4 banger the other day lol

 

random and not really LT but kind of along the same lines: what constitutes a truck to be mid-travel?

 

Here are some updates with the axle swap and new bumper. We are still working through brake issues, and waiting on the VSS kit from Wyatt. He really came through for us and took a lot of the pressure off us to locate all the parts. I am picking up a 4x8 sheet of 6061 Monday for skids.

 

Anything under 12 inches of travel. Stock doesn't count.

 

Pretty, is that a 9"? If not, I'm loving and jealous of the gussets

Wow. Thats a unique way for the uca-spindle mount. That's impressive. Lot's of travel.

 

Its an awesome kit if you make it for yourself

TW members are too much of a vag to buy things lit this because you have to weld and cut lol

 

x2! I think It's because most of the people don't do crazy stuff like prerunning and LT. So when they buy their truck they type in tacoma forum or something and this comes up. People more geared to the desert go to desert forums.

 

i know this question might redundant... but whats with the uniball sideways... more travel.???
