I’ve searched on Craigslist junk yards literally everywhere besides eBay most people selling them on there are states away and are asking for local pick up so seems like there’s no other option I have no problem buying a new tailgate and buying multiple parts off websites to put it together but the rods in the assembly and latch are hard to find

Yeah I could find the latch no problem I’m having trouble finding the assembly that makes the latch work inside of the tailgate like the rods and latches on the right and left side that allow the tailgate to close onto the bed of the truck

I have a tailgate from a 2013 Tacoma that I'm parting out. I can sell you the latch and rod from both sides.
    Where are you located?

There’s a lot of parts that make up the tailgate. Hinges, latches, handle, rods, cables, bolts, screws, clips, inner panel, upper cap. Buying all the individual parts from Toyota would cost a lot. If Havoc can supply all the components, then you can buy a new shell and have it painted.

If you can’t find a nice used complete color matched tailgate, it’s going to be expensive, no matter how you do it.
