Sad thing is, I’m not driving enough to get to my next oil change and spark plug replacement. Which would be a great quarantine time killer. At this rate it’ll take me three months to get through the 1500 miles I have left.

I hit a concrete wall so I'm currently rebuilding my entire passenger side suspension, changing out the steering rack, headlights, fenders and straightening out the sidewall/crumple zone? On the engine bay.

Anyone familiar with king shock repairs? Is it worth sending them to rebuild or should I just get a new one. Shock is completely seized.

No idea on it’s past, I found it on Facebook. Cleaned the carb and now it runs great. No oil leaks no smoke. Son also has a 86 that was my first four wheeler. My dad maintained it all these years using only oem parts. There hard to find in good shape!! This one needs some love. Needs new wheels as these are two piece that bolt together and they are leaking.

I know there's a lot of new technology in the moving internals but it sure is nice seeing an old school raw HP build. Don't see that much anymore. :hattip:

Was the 185 a big red? My neighbor had an ATC 110, it was an ‘85 as well. My brother had a 250R three wheeler, it would fly.

Looking at the other damage I bet you bent the shaft. It is replaceable and people frequently replace them when rebuilding for lesser reasons like pitting and corrosion. I bet a rebuild and new shaft would set you straight (no pun intended) and the shaft is a readily available replacement part.

I can’t say I’m super familiar with Kings specifically but in a past life I was a fox factory certified suspension tech and they’re all pretty much the same thing once you crack them open.

Have few projects to do around the house this week and if it stays warm will do a complete detail on the Taco Bottom to top. Service on our 09 Venza and give wife's Mini a going over. The back up cam on the Jensen radio quit working so some trouble shooting is in order.
