This (interwebs picture, mine was indentical) was my hunting and fishing ride from 1984-1988. Rear seats folded down, carried all my huntin' stuff along with dead deer. Got me back some gnarly forest roads. Some I probably had no business being on.

I always liked the body style, and had a lot of fun modifying and driving those cars. The ‘86 XR7 was a turbo 2.3 with a 5-speed, and the ‘88 had a 5.0.

Also, I watched that entire video.

    Meh.
I've lost too many rods /reels, one way or another, to spend much money on them.
So long as they work, it's okay by me. :notsure:
    Cheapie Shakespeare combos work alright.

The only nice one I have is a Daiwa ultralight spinner combo.
The takedown case is quite small and it resides in my truck at all times.
I used to use it for Brook Trout on small streams up in the State Forest.
    Rough terrain up there...

But get what you want, since I have no room to talk.
I used to drive to trap tournaments with my trap guns in the trunk of my Chevy Malibu.
Got that car new for Mrs Gritto.
But it was a steaming pile of crap...unreliable. So I ended up with it.
You can't have your wife driving a lousy car like that.
It's gone now, and good riddance.
    But I digress...

Mrs Gritto used to needle me about the value of that Malibu going up by more than an order of magnitude when my guns were in the trunk.
    Which was true.
Never had more than 3 at any given time, but bought and sold, I dunno, maybe 20.
    I still have 3.
