C'mon there has to be more to the story........................offroad couple of times, cruising around the neighborhood and your shit breaks like that? If that is truly the "rest of the story" it does not hold well for that company.

At the bottom of this page in the Products discussed section second from the left. Looks like they're sold out.

At a glance and without reading its use I was under the impression it was being used as a waterport. With a full tank of compressed air if the stem were to break off that could make it a potential missle! That's why compressed gases and air are always secured upright and capped when not in use. Good catch!

I love my 3rd Gen but I'd be lying if I said I said I liked it better than my '11.
IMHO I believe that the 2nd Gens were the best of the best.

Did you get TSB 62-18 applied to the ECU? Mine drove like a different truck after that.

When I saw folks reactions to the first time they drove with the PC installed I knew that is where I will get my old truck back. One got ordered this AM with overnight shipping I want it so badly. Of course right now I am not driving anywhere but when we all get back on the road I do think the PC will give me back the excitement I used to get driving my 2008 model.

    Not enough
Why’s that? Can I store it horizontally and use it vertically? I’ve seen bed mounts where it’s near horizontal before.

It's just the button to the left of the odometer reading. It toggles between odometer, trip A and trip B mileage. I always use B for my local driving. The total of what I have driven and how far I have left on the tank add up to roughly 400, not that I'll actually get that much.

Supposedly it was held up at the port getting recalls and updates before I received it.

I have never done the reset on A or B so maybe that is why my Mileage to Empty is always off?

That was one of the first things I did to my FJ. Was wondering if there was a way to do it on the Taco.

Did you check for any ECU updates? Once I had my 2017 updated the throttle response was the difference between night and day.

Note, Toyota does NOT do anything unless you ask and make a point of knowing what TSBs are required as opposed to Kia for example who researched any recalls or updates in advance of your appointment with the mechanic. I know this for a fact because I have dealt with both dealers.

A CO2 cylinder contains LIQUID CO2. When standing upright it boils off to a gas when used. The liquid stays in the cylinder. Regulators are NOT intended to have liquid CO2 released through them.

It can be safely used if mounted at say a 45 degree angle, but NOT horizontal.
