Dang, is everything up pre market or what?

 

Anyone with td ameritrade.

is it possible to “group” stocks in your portfolio? I want to group my “”play” stocks and then shut down my betterment investment account and self direct with etfs rather than pay betterment to do it instead. But I’d like to group them as “investment” and “play” or whatever name. Does td allow buckets like that? If not I can just use my old Robinhood account but I’d like to shut that down too and have as few accounts as possible.

ps for trading platforms I know we talked about them a few pages back. Robinhood is really nice in that it allows you to see their own groups. Like I can view CCL and then see similar stocks. That’s pretty cool. Otherwise I much prefer td. But if the best way to do this is with two different accounts (I’d like to avoid) I could do my etfs in Robinhood instead. If they allow it I’d have to double check.

I’m trying to get RUTH myself. Looking for something I can take a quick profit on in the not too distant future. Figure maybe they’ll surge when isolation is over.

I got my stimulus $$ deposited this morning.

Mine is mostly paying for home repairs and an insurance deductible, but I think I can skim $1k off the top and invest it.

I wonder how the movie theater industry will bounce back? I know AMC may be filing for ch11 reorganization. I am sure they will sell off a few theaters during this time allowing others to grow. Wonder if cinemark will bounce quickly.

We are pretty frugal aka I am cheap, but we are going to splurge with this by buying local. We each need a new pair of running shoes, unam going to get a new pistol as I only have a couple of revolvers, my wife is getting her hair done, and we want to go get a nice dinner.

Local shoe store....closed
Gun shop....out of the pistol I want with no way to get more at the moment.
Hair salons....closed
Restaurant...I'm not going to buy a nice dinner to eat at home.

 

I told woman to throw it on her car loan since it was completely unexpected/unplanned/not necessary $$$ and neither of us were affected by the shutdowns.

 

8.05 before market open, but pre-market messed that up for me

 

The best we could do around here is local restaurants for takeout and we probably won’t be doing take out for a few weeks at least. We don’t do takeout much.

can only stimulate so much when nobody is open not blaming them, but what are we to do?

I’ll probably throw it at my Roth when it comes in.
