Thoughts on 37s

I cut fenders today to make room for 37s

Everybody says I'm supposed to tub the firewall we will see how clearance is once I get tires on I'm sitting at 6" lift I'm hope I won't have to do it

 

Sooooo much room for activities, you convert to 4x4?

I know somebody with a Dana 60 front axle they will sell me cheap but there's still alot to the puzzle I'll be missing

 

Might be able to get away with a cab mount relocation and taking a sledge to the fire wall

 

I think everyone on the forum knows that feeling

37’s are showing up early next week.. I’d love to hear thoughts on balancing them.. I’m really tempted to just bead balance them because then I can mount and balance here at home fast and easy and not worry about finding a shop willing to spin these big boys, but the reviews on bead balancing are all over the place in true love/hate fashion.

What are some Toyota folks’ opinions on 37’s and beads.. good, bad, worth it, stick to traditional.. I’d love to hear a little bit from y’all!

 

Been using airsoft beads for 5 years now. Main thing is remembering the bbs balance after you are moving so sometimes getting started it will be bouncy but it smooths out.

 

Same as @Robertocritser, been using dyno beads for a few years and they work great as long as you put enough in. I've made the mistake of running not enough weight but haven't noticed a "too much" weight limit. Also tire pressure plays a big part, especially running bias ply tires.

Ps. Rear is not yet lifted, waiting on an angle grinder and cut off disks for the damn leaf spring bolts that are frozen. Dakar’s and AAL will be going on to get it even with the front.
