I drive this truck as my commuting vehicle, so any performance boost is welcome. I don't own a race car but I do own a boat and fish offshore as often as possible. I will use the truck to transport lobster traps & other fishing gear all summer long, not that it is any concern of yours. I'm pretty sure I'm not in the wrong truck. You keep racing in circles (LMAO), I'll keep chasing Tuna. To each his own.

I bought it direct from the manufacturer, no restock fee mentioned there so I'm not that concerned.

Lost the prop rod and put on those hood supports I’ve been seeing on here recently. So far so good, no drilling took about 10 minutes.

It is in the way of the air filter? Or you just removed it to install?

How long is the bolt they include for the drivers side that goes into that grounding hole? I have a couple wires grounded there and have been wondering if they bolt they include has threading that's long enough.

I owned a 2008 Tacoma which had the 4 liter V-6 in it. When you pressed the throttle down it moved, NOW. After getting my 2020 model with extra 42 HP I was just a little disappointed in the throttle response to the point I had to remember to engage ECT Power so it was closer to what I was used to driving daily. I originally did not buy a Tacoma for fuel economy as the best I could get daily on the 2008 model was around 14-16 MPG. I am happy the new engine gets better mileage even when in ECT Power mode but the throttle response was disappointing still. I had mentioned to myself if I could pay someone $1K to put my old engine and transmission back into this new body I would. Now I only had to pay 1/3 of that to get back what is missing.

ECT always on mod was such a good purchase to fix the shifting points for me. I've also got 5.29 gears on the way and the truck should feel pretty good after those 2 things.

Good job. I specifically TOLD my dealer that there would be NO dealer advertising on my truck. If I was treated well by the dealer then people would know.

Yeah, I thought about it too late. Luckily it's only been on for a week so it came off very easily with no residue.
