I'm sure a local diesel repair shop can do it... they might not want to do it tho

I'll have to look into that. There's a couple other "shops" around too, all I see them do is bolt shit onto Jeeps.
Everyone I've spoken to that's re-geared, or knows someone, did the job themselves and won't help me out for liability reasons. Or did it to something domestic and won't touch a Yota. I respect that, but holy balls I wanna get out of FWD! :frusty:

I mean... I'll have a mod day at my house, but be warned that may be step 1 to totaling your truck.

Maybe someone will help, maybe we'll fuck up your truck... who knows?

I'm just not confident that I can setup the lash, gap, and all that stuff reliably. I can put in or take out some bolts, beat things with a hammer, etc., but setting gears can be tricky I've learned.

Find a junkyard third to throw in while you shop the current third to be setup with a new ring and pinion. Normally pretty cheap from yards and you can always sell or keep as a core after. Thirds fit nicely in 5 gallon buckets for shipping.

For any interested parties who may have deleted their posts for whatever reason, there is no such thing as "taking a loan to pay off debt", and lenders know this. It *does* look incredibly erratic to take a large loan to basically shuffle debt around then ask for another loan immediately. Also, that new loan killed your score, as will a new credit card, because they are brand new lines of credit. You basically lose all the positives from the existing loans' age, and swapped them with a brand new loan. The whole thing is algo based and youre flipping all the wrong switches. Ive got alot more to say here but Id franky just find a cpa friend and hash it out with them.

A junk taco around me is like hen's teeth, yet I'm always looking for them, just in case. And this happens to be one of those cases!
Been looking for your solution since about 2 weeks after getting in the new parts, which was about 2 weeks after the rear went KABOOM. I've not given up. I can't.

Somehow your contact was deleted so I ignored the text lol. Context clues in the texts helped me realize.
What's the option on that site to shop for just 3rds? Seems like I can only find entire assembly or housing

After far too long of doing what most say is "bad", it's getting a remedy. Many thanks to ECGS and what they do!
