This would have happened with or without this kit. He needs better suspension is what he needs.

My kill list includes a Solo tundra rack conversation, 2 OEM racks, and cracking the welds on gusseted spindles.

Clearly we need to race MT trucks

It's not supposed to be a popularity contest. That's the problem with contests as such. You're trying to vouch for a guy who you think mobs hard but you don't know how the rest of us drive our trucks. IMO, even if he hit a rock and that was the final straw, he still hit it at full send and produced a ton of damage.

Nobody said it, but if you ask the guys who've experienced both they'll likely all agree on what damages a truck more.

    Easy solution.

All eligible rigs show up at JV and start at the lake bed. Run a lap up Claw Hammer and back to the lake bed. Do that 3 times. Last truck running gets the kit.

You gotta run fast in the desert and wheel hard in the rocks. Best of both worlds.

If it makes you feel better, I don't know either party outside of this forum. I don't doubt they both wheel hard AF judging by pics and previous conversations.

I'll buy the damn kit before I submit myself to that challenge. The cost of the damage done to the rest of the truck will outweigh winning this LCA kit.

I will show up with plenty of beer though if this actually happens. :burp::drunk:

Edit: you could probably win just by finishing. Don't even have to do it fast.

Not that it’s lca mount related, but anyone ever disintegrate a piston and valve stack?

As for going fast vs crawling causing more damage, I personally have broken more parts crawling. But feel go fast desert stuff causes me to work on the truck almost as often.

Not trying to start a war here lol, I don’t know @Arcticelf and definitely not saying I’m more of a badass than him or anyone else in here. I’m sure he is also deserving, and this contest is meant in good community spirit so let’s try keep it that way.

I have fun with my truck, and yes it was mostly an accumulation of carnage. The final straw was a completely accidental launch into a wash I didn’t see coming. :facepalm:There was an unfortunately placed rock at the bottom to welcome the right side. Funny enough actually managed to drive home with that as is, just had to remove all the plastic on that side and bash some sheet metal.
Left side obviously had to be replaced in situ to continue, thanks to my pit crew (you know who you are) and MJ esp for driving a replacement from Vegas to Mojave for me.

The damage prompted the TC +2 kit but as I said I’m going through bushings like crazy lol, wonky mounts are just eating them up.

    anyway tl:dr

    Good luck to all entrants

Needed maybe. This was the day I learned that 5100’s were not too great lol. Was a Vegas to Barstow run and I was pretending I had a trophy truck because I had just put my bamf relocation in the rear but still had 5100’s up front.

When we're in the same place drinks are on me. It's all for fun and we're on the same page for this "competition".

Someone post up some even better carnage and solve this for us.

Going fast kills way more stuff than crawling. All my real damage is from going fast, the slow shit just bends sheet metal and dents things.
