    After I cut near the axle, I will weld the tip back on. I just need to find a way to support the pipe. The next hangar supports the muffler

    I’m confused- your photo looks like you cut it like mine - just rear of the last hanger near the spare tire exhaust shield. Isn’t that last hanger still intact in your photo? Mine was and I just put a cheap spout tip on the end.

    Yup, cut it right before the last hangar. My goal is to cut above the axle as the pipe bends down then Reattach the tip there.

    Quite a few things at this point..
    Get a transfer case skid. That's what I did (RCI). And if you're looking for sliders, I'll recommend RCI again since it's also what I've got.
