FWIW My truck is heavy and with auto/4.56 I’ve been more than pleased with how it performs.

You might check around on front diffs. I bought a diff and it came with a diff tube on my taco. If they have an FJ front diff it might have the tube still attached to it

 

I have but dang shipping would be more than getting a tube new setup.

That shock relocate is effective! Lots of extra droop and stuffage. There are no clips on the flares because the tires ripped them off.

Just go Total Chaos and be satisfied forever.

4.56 would probably treat you better.

 

Doing things a bit different since I pulled the liners. I'm filling the gaping void with expanding foam. I'll cut it so it's smooth, then paint it black. That's going to keep the cab a bit quieter, water tight, and it won't look all fucky.

 

I’m not opposed to 4.56 either. It will depend on how expensive it is whenever that time comes. I’ve notice the 4.88 has been cheaper most of the time which is why I settled on it. Either one should do the trick though and be a good time coming out of a stop lol
