Exactly. One second you are wanting to be lazy, but you know at the end of the day you will regret it if you dont.

And everytime I go out I have the best time. Even if it's not catching fish, or exploring roads on BLM or wma that I haven't been on. Even the roads that aren't that big a deal for most trucks with proper tires I like doing it because it's fun.

True story #54 about this place....
Many years ago, myself and another redneck were bass fishing this particular place from the comforts of my boat. My line felt kinda 'heavy' so I set the hook. The fight was on!! He went down, came back up close to the surface....down again. I had on The Big One! Finally, after a long and tedious struggle...and just as my friend was leaning over with the net, we saw it...
it was a fucking lawn chair:pout:

Well Austin choked during dinner tonight. Ended up taking him to the ER because he couldn’t clear it. They just took him back to so an EGD to remove what food is stuck. I’m having to sit here by myself bc they will only allow one visitor. :(

I have a 14’ jon boat that hasn’t been wet in 7 years. I used to use it all the time back when I was a drunk. My brother and I went out in it one day and pulled off on the other side of the lake to pee. I got back in the boat and my rod with a nice bait caster and a pair of Oakley sunglasses somehow got missing. I have no idea how or where they went, well they’re in the bottom of the lake. So glad I don’t drink anymore. When our kids get a little older the boat will get some use again.

I use to fish almost every day that I was off, it's slowed way down lately. I plan on picking up the pace when the weather isn't quite as stupid. Redoing my shop has sucked up alot of my time but I'm pretty much done with it now. Except maybe painting the outside trim. And possibly painting the ceiling. And...
