Obviously we don’t hold the majority so it’s hard to find exact answer for my question. For all the guys with the 2.7 4 cyl engine double cab with automatic trans... who has had experience with bigger tires and how much power was stolen from the whopping 150hp it naturally produces? I am interested in a few different sizes, 265-75-16 and 265-70-17 (same diameter) or even 265-70-16. My stock tire is 245-75-16.

    thank you

I went up to the 265/70, no real noticeable difference in power. Not stoked about the tires I got, but they’ve gotten the job done so far. Been running for 40,000+ miles. 16”

I have a 2.7 access cab though, went from the 245 stock size to SL load rated 265/75's and you can barely tell, I still plan on regearing but thats because I prefer it that way

What did you end up doing?

I have the same question, Although I want to add TRD 17 in rims. These are much better looking rims, but I would like to know if I should add bigger tires (255 or 265) to my double access prerunner.

I would appreciate what you did to yours.
