    I don't have the tools to fix it nor the space right now.

    Is your cv boot torn? If it looks like it has been torn for awhile I would bet cv joint also.

    Sounds like you need to call a few shops and start getting some quotes. Get a few quotes and ask if they can use OEM parts (based off you prior post).

    Make the best decision you can after that....

    Not torn, no leaking fluids, can't see anything obviously wrong.

    Confused to say the least.

    If you can afford it. That would be my recommendation.
    Since you say, you don’t have torn or worn boots. I can’t see a real reason not to go OEM.

    I'm imagining ~ 1k to get it done.
    Gonna have them check on other things also, Grease everything etc.

    Instead of calling around to shops getting quotes for a new CV axle you should be calling around to shops to get an appt for getting the noise diagnosed. It would suck to spend money on a new axle only to have the problem still there

    Figured it out.

    My SPC UCA failed, Ball joints died on my passenger side.

    I only installed it in February so it's gonna be warrantied.
