    First post here...

I'm all in on one of the turbo options but my truck is a year old. If a warranty issue popped up and I reverted the truck back to stock, what do you guys think would happen? Seems a good mechanic would suspect something, but wanted other opinions.

Here's how I see it. If you are doing a turbo kit on a truck in warranty you have lost said warranty. I am still on power train warranty for another 2 years. I fully understand turbos= I am on my own from here on out with repairs. I think the phrase is you gotta pay to play.

Agreed. The worst-case scenario is fine for me. Just wanted to see what people thought the likelihood of that scenario is.

I mean you could always try to return to stock but you are talking about more than a couple turbos. Oil lines, coolant lines, a/c lines, oil pan, brakes lines are all being moved or rerouted or added. Very unlikely you would be able to put everything back to stock without some sign of it having been messed with. Toyota is notoriously difficult with warranty. I recently had a warranty claim rejected for my kb voodoo remote start that has been in the truck for 3 years. Very recently i have started having issues with evap codes. Codes point to a bad purge valve. Technician said my aftermarket remote start is causing my evap codes. Must return truck back to stock before they will look at it under warranty.

@OVTune when testing the turbos on your truck, have you been rolling around with a CEL or has one not come up?

    + street pulls!
Field pulls are null to me..it’s too difficult to gauge any amount of power, there is just too many variables with traction on grass. I can nearly do the same in my
4banger 22re 4Runner. Great to see her revving smoothly tho!

A while back I crept thru @Sleipnir build page on his f-150, pretty sure I remembered a “few” mods under the hood so maybe not lol.

Once you push over 25psi it's just a matter of time even if you got the jump on me:burnrubber:

I also will be trying a modified FMIC set up for this TT kit to accommodate winches. Once I place a deposit on the TT kit I'll be purchasing a Treadstone TR10C or 1035 to tinker with.

Turd Hawg, have you tried fitting the 1035 yet? Curious to see pics or hear feedback if you think the 1035 will work.

Looking to have a similar set up modeled after the one in this pic. Treadstone has a variety of sizes which I think we should be able to get one to fit

Might even be able to flip it upside down to make it work, if necessary. And change the tubing to 90deg ends

How long till the second batch? This kit is the reason I bought my truck so I will be purchasing one, but I’m going to hold off in case my employer has to let any of us go for any length of time.. @OVTune
