Lol it's the lighting and pixels. I do need to get it redone though, it's probably 10 years old now.

Good luck. Whirlpool sold more freezers week ending 4/4 than they did in all of 2019 combined. When I checked the date of when I could get one (dealer) it was pushed out to 6/26.

Bought one in February as soon as we got to the in-laws, which was about a week before shit hit the fan. Had nothing to do with the pandemic, I just needed a place to store chicken :notsure:

Update on the company who denied me a job, but another manager had interest.

I spoke with him he told me he see's the good that I was trying to explain, but I was thinking of it on to high of a level and the other managers didn't like the answers. He said within a minute they already made their decision but he wanted to hear more.

The role he has is a 'traveling manager' the way I see it, from the description is basically 'substitute manager'. This is from my assumption of the title and job responsibilities.

I will be traveling to sites who are having new construction / bad performance and assist the current manager there to learn the issues and help out. I also step in for other managers while they are traveling to their other locations or on PTO (many managers have multiple locations say maybe 3 hour driving distance).

Once a new project is complete and it is approved for a full time manager of that project, I can accept that job and relocate there if I choose too. He said on average 6 months before a site location is typically found, or less. He has work for me here though, for at least 3 months at my current location - he didn't say no manager role will be open, so maybe there is hope.

No offer yet, still need to do a final round interview... It's a head spinner, for sure. I am still working at my current job, but as every day goes by we get closer to RIP.

Been there done that. Interviewed for jobs for the better part of 3 months while I went to work everyday expecting the news of being let go, which finally happened. Luckily I got 3mos severance and found a new job in less time than that so it all worked out. Good luck!

These people think way too highly of themselves with all these interviews.

I’m not a huge fan of working from home all the time for the same reason I don’t want to workout at home all the time but I am digging the fact that I eat delicious fresh cooked food most meals.

Omelettes are like my new fav lunch.

The not having to prep thing is nice.

Yeah, we're going to get used to this just in time to go back.

Definitely a case of some good, some bad though.

I’ve still been prepping. Easier to stay in a routine that way, same reason I still workout at 6am. I’ve also been busier working from home than when I went in but that has more to do with moving and dealing with a 7mo pregnant wife than it does work

It’s going to be really hard for companies and managers to go back to the “we need to work in the office 5 days per week” schtick after almost all of America just stayed afloat working remote for over 2months

    How is she doing?
Women tend to blow up that last month with that baby gettin ready to come out (baby’s first bulk!). All women say something different but that last few weeks just seems like it sucks.
Well the whole fucking thing probably sucks lol
