New style Camburg uppers ship today. Replaced the driver side CV, and kept the old one for a spare. Picked up new OE shock hardware from the dealer, and grabbed some longer Grade 8 bolts for the coil buckets. Should be all back together by the end of the weekend.

Do you get a lot of light splashing onto the hood when you have your light bar on at night?

Some, yeah. Lens/beam pattern play a big role, but regardless there's gonna be some glare.

I'm actually planning on deleting it from the roof and going back to a solid fairing and just running a bar in the bumper.

Updated my maintenance log. Truck has been back together for a few weeks now. Drives better than ever. New style Camburg Sealed Uniball Uppers, new LCAs, inner and outer tie rods, and CVs. All balanced and aligned. Plus the rebuilt Kings.. its the first time everything has been replaced and is new all at the same time. Its never been this solid and smooth. Lol

Haven't taken it out too much recently. Still waiting for the last of my NST pullies to arrive before I slap the skids back on. Planning on pulling the bumper at the same time to make it easier and to install my Baja Onx in the bumper. Hoping within the next month or so have it all back together 100% and get a final tune on it (after some post pulley Datalogging) and start gettin out again!

Did use it for some landscaping at my parents place to north though...

I did. They originally sent a flat back Alt.. I wasn't expecting them to include the new one in the s/c Crank pulley shipment! Got the lip on it now.

found some pics from when I blew the CV a couple months ago..

pics never do justice. this shelf section is easily a 6+ feet change in height in only about 3 feet. steps were spaced the same as wheelbase too. front passenger was slippin n grippin along the right side and finally grabbed and load shocked the CV. Trail is covered in loose rocks and boulders plus a drop on the left side, which I slipped off of while trying to get the truck off the shelf in 2wd, and ended up getting hung up between the Diff and Gas tank skid. Had to winch out to a mesquite above us on the trail to line back up straight and get off the boulder. then back down in reverse, in 2wd, struggling the whole time keeping it straight and on the trail due to the loose rock.

Finished up my NST pulley install. waterpump, alternator, crank, and a custom s/c crank pulley. Truck seems to run much smoother and according to my butt dyno, feels like it picks up quicker for sure. Pulled my oil pan and re-sealed that as well. Also installed a new set of Wheelers Superbumps up front. Got that all wrapped up Friday night, then took the truck up north for the weekend for a family get together and some desert shenanigans.

How did you like the aftermarket projector headlights you started out with on page 1 of the build? What headlights do you have now? Deciding on buying another cheapo ebay pair of headlights or buying ebay projectors - not solely depending on those since I have BD lights for offroading.

My original ones on the first page I built. Started with eBay projectors and gutted the internals and swapped it all with quality Morimoto projectors and ballasts. Was a lot of work and 100% custom. They were great.. but years of abuse wheeling and stuff slowly started breaking them down. So instead of going through all that headache again just for pretty looking lights.. I swapped in some ebay black housing reflector headlights. Nothing fancy. Only thing I did was upgrade the headlights to 100w.. but still using halogen bulbs. Wanted my headlights to be basic and easy to work on/replace again.

That's kind of my mentality. Link to the 100w mod?
